With all of the snow days seeming to happen on Tuesday and Thursday, our fourth graders have not given up on creating designs to be part of the Creating for a Cause for American Family Children's Hospital.
Next week designers will be using Osmo Masterpiece to practice drawing butterflies or moths. Each designer will be taking their design and transferring it in to a night light lithophane using lithophanemaker.com.
Today designers finished the last touches on their 3D printed decoration. Adding just the right amount of paint and glitter for tomorrow's Economic Bazaar sale. Thank you to Alyssa, Maddie, Jolette, Anna, Hailey, Samantha, Claire, Jadon, Mason, Jeush, and Elliot for creating something to sell to benefit the American Family Children's Hospital.
Makers Empire has rolled out a whole new interface with different types of challenges and tutorials that I can't wait to share with our students and teachers. I've been waiting all summer to share the new design and see how students respond. While looking at tweets, I ran across an idea that inspired me. It was a post about 3D printing and using tulle to create jewelry. It started to make me think about designing bracelets integrating 3D printing and ribbon. First Iteration
