Every two weeks the K team and I meet to talk about how we can use technology to support student learning. In our discussion, we talked about how to provide students with the skills to navigate and leverage the iPad in the K setting. Through this discussion, a project of creating 1 minute or less videos that are QR code linked was created.
I'm really excited about this feature and the project that will result for our students. |

Our very own Rachel Nolan, a fourth grade teacher at Country View Elementary, showcased how she uses technology to support student learning at WEMTA to educators around the state this past week. She lead a poster session on Osmos as well as a hands-on presentation about using Osmos with students. She also presented with Elizabeth Heiser, a fifth grade teacher at Stoner Prairie, and Karie Huttner, Educational Technology Coordinator at Country View and Stoner Prairie, about doing Genius Hour to provide voice and choice in student created learning projects.
In the first week at CV, I had the pleasure to document just one of the greatness of this group of educators. This is Hungry Hippo edited to our school song by Shakira.
