The goal is to continue to use this space as we start our Bubble Wand 3D Design Thinking project later in the year as well as adding other learning projects into the choices.
Today was the first day of using our Makerspace with our kindergartners. The kinder team suggested using the space and focusing on different ways for our learners to play, make, and learn. The next four weeks our learners will rotate through different choices - Osmo Monster, Tiggly Numbers, Hot Wheels, and Large Lego Building. The goal is to continue to use this space as we start our Bubble Wand 3D Design Thinking project later in the year as well as adding other learning projects into the choices.

This week Mr. Rebholz and I worked on creating a better flow for our work stations.
With Mr. Rebholz, learners used Seesaw to practice their letters by writing them and recording them. On their own, learners used Osmo Monster to draw and practice vocabulary development. With me, learners chose their final piece to complete their turkey card. Choosing between a circle, heart, star, diamond, square, pentagon, or octagon, designers chose their turkey head and added their googly eyes and other details. In the last station, learners chose between DreamBox or PebbleGo. Thank you to Leah Ehle who captured what was happening in the classroom during our technology integration time.
