What I love about Genius Hour is that students can share new crazes and together we have the opportunity to really dive into the research and design behind these crazes.
Take fidgets for example.... Fidgets have really allowed our students to consider what is the actual research, what designs are better fits for a classroom, and how to you go about creating those designs. In this session of Genius Hour, fidgets have become a real focus area. I've enjoyed sharing the controversy around fidgets with the students and asking that they find evidence to support their ideas about the use of fidgets in the classroom. |
