So this week I started our Video Game Unit using the Modern Classroom Model and four focus tools - Pixicade, Bloxels, FlowLab, and Scratch. For each tool, the module is designed with an app introduction, an edpuzzle showcasing key information about the designer and app, an orange slide for playing and reflecting, and a yellow slide for designing and reflecting. | |

Pixicade really provided an easy entry point into the discussion of what makes up a video game. What is needed? What makes others want to play it? I can't wait to see which students choose to pursue using this tool more in designing their final video games for the unit. | |
