I love the Instructables Build Nights because it gives our students the opportunity to use new materials and explore.
Okay so this didn't exactly happen in the SP Design Lab but now I am wondering why it shouldn't be. My students were challenged to create something that teaches others about multiplication. Some students selected creating a music video and this is how they did it.
The Final Video
Testing has started again but lucky for us, the SP Design Lab was able to open today during lunch. The excitement of the Lego Table... which quickly was modified by many hands along with the Dashes, Spheros, Osmo Masterpiece drawings, Ollies, Minecraft, and rainbow looms provided so many different choices for our students.
I love legos! I've always wanted a lego table and our PTO has made this possible for our SP Design Lab. I bought all of the parts and my husband put it together today. I can't tell you how excited I am to share this with our students.
Our SP Design Lab has been very fortunate to be selected to participate in the following build nights through Instructables.
March - Circuit Scribe
April - InstaMorph
InstaMorph is a unique product that turns into malleable plastic that hardens. I can't wait to try this out with our students to see what they will create. I have already visited the InstaMorph website to see other ideas... now I have to decide what lucky groups will be creating with this moldable plastic.
May - Strawbees
Our luck continued when we were selected for the Strawbees Build Night. I'm very excited about the simplicity of the Strawbees. Check out this video... I can't wait to see what our students will do with Strawbees.
