This past June I was able to participate in the June Chicago MakerBot Makethon, which was a very valuable experience to create and connect with other educators around 3D printing.
Though our design wasn't selected as the winner, I walked away with great ideas and connections as well as the opportunity to become a MakerBot Ambassador.
As a MakerBot Ambassador, I was given the opportunity to create 10 lessons to contribute to Thingiverse.
Here are the four that I have currently published:
Tic Tac Toe for All
Understanding Lines Through Design
Personalized Rubik's Cube
Bringing An Insect to Life
I also am test printing other educator's designs. I get to select 5 different lessons and test print them to give feedback. So here goes with my first review.....
This design was created by MrKindergarten (August Deshais) an educator in California. As soon as I saw it, I was inspired.
Sphero Obstacle Course
Here are my pictures of the design as I printed it. I am really looking forward to using this lesson with my students.
