This week was our STEM monster week. STEM in my classroom is S-Design Thinking Story, T-Technology Exploration, E-Engineering Exploration, and M-Making. It is the structure that is used each week. This week's Design Thinking Story was "How I Met My Monster". It launched a very creative activity for my designers.
On the first day, designers listened to the Edpuzzle and then chose their cardboard monster that was cut by our Glowforge. I used the scan and cut feature and then added a cut rectangle to fit micro:bit. |

On the second day, designers learned about the accelerometer through Micro:Bits accelerometer video and watched a tutorial video on creating a virtual pet. After having over 30 minutes to create and test their code, designers then uploaded a video of their design to Flip. |
