This post is a continuation of Days 1 and 2 as well as Days 3 and 4 from previous posts.
I've found that it is not possible to describe all of the learning and making that happened in only nine days with the Makey and Makey and Scrappy Circuits PD offered by the Infosys Foundation in only one blog post. |
P1: On Friday, we learned with @KatieButzuOT and @MrMarkLyons about creating adaptive controllers. This is my version of a hula hoop controller explained. Thanks to @makeymakey and the @InfyFoundation for this learning opportunity. pic.twitter.com/iwpLUhsVmX

Day 6 the man who sees circuits everywhere at a dollar store, Michael Carroll, of Scrappy Circuits changed my way of looking at simple items and seeing switches. Honestly his way of seeing the potential of every item to become part of a circuit is astounding.
Three days working with Michael and I spent more time in a dollar store thinking .... hmm, How does that work? What could that become? I now have several tear apart projects for the weeks to come because of him. I have yet to create my switch assignment but I have so many ideas. I want to create an example switch board for my designers to see the potential of what can become a switch. |
