As part of an introduction to 3D printing, designers were introduced to both Makers Empire and Tinkercad. Below are the slides that designers used.... but as we know, the designers are the ones who really make any exploration a discovery of talent and passion.

Let me introduce you to Zach. Zach and I have been working together virtually for a semester already but with virtual learning, it has been difficult to connect. Zach started in person this month with me and he is a quiet fascinating designer.
After being introduced to Tinkercad, he went home and designed this amazing anime design. For those of you who have used Tinkercad, you can admire the amount of time and precision that was part of this design that Zach created. The following week he asked if he could print his design.... it made my week. To see someone invest time and detail in designing something in a 3D software and then being able to watch it come to life on the 3D printer is nothing short of satisfying. |

Zach's next step is to add color to his final print. I can't wait to see what other designs he makes as he is clearly very talented. I am thankful to have the opportunity to work with him.
