Thanks to the Infosys Foundation, this summer I have been able to participate in some amazing PD opportunities that have stretched me as both a learner and maker. I was fortunate to be introduced to Makey Makey many years ago and I fell in love with it. Of course with time, I became excited about other making tools and forgot the power of the Makey Makey to inspire and awe my designers.

The course started with a fantastic overview of the Makey Makey and was a great refresher of resources that the Makey Makey website contain. We tried the Beginner 101 Course which is a newly developed course for teachers to learn about the Makey Makey as well as Invention Literacy.
My favorite resources I have included in this post. I really appreciated the interactive visual of the Makey Makey to explain how each component on both the front and back work. Also the first time setup poster will be part of my instruction. |
Here is a blog post from Makey Makey about favorite conductors - link.
